Celtic warriors were among the most Fierce and unpredictable opponents of the Roman Empire. Between the 5th century BCE and the 1st century CE, the Celts ruled large swaths of Europe.

For a Celtic warrior, courage and military prowess determined their status among their tribesmen. The ferocity with which they fought inspired fear even among the well-armed Romans.
