The limited-edition Panzer 38(t) 1939 set allows you to recreate one of the most recognizable light tanks of the beginning of World War II, a vehicle that, despite its Czech origin, is remembered as the backbone of the German armored forces during the invasion of Poland and France.
Czech precision and modernity
Developed at the ČKD plants in Prague, the LT vz. 38 was a modern light tank, created as a successor to the flawed LT vz. 35. Thanks to its reliable suspension, solid construction, and Praga EPA engine, it stood out for its mobility and durability. Armed with a 3.7 cm gun, it surpassed many German counterparts of that period in firepower. This tank aroused international interest and was adopted by several armies around the world.
Panzer 38(t), the German pillar of blitzkrieg
After the annexation of Czechoslovakia, the Germans took over the LT vz. 38 project and began production of the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) at the BMM plants. The Ausf. A version from 1939, reproduced in the COBI model, participated in the September and French campaigns. Unique design features included: a 3.7 cm caliber gun, which was powerful for a light tank, and riveted armor. This armament was superior to the German light tank, and the front armor thickness... The 25 mm armor was only slightly weaker than the Panzerkampfwagen III and Panzerkampfwagen IV.
All of this made the vehicle valued by the Wehrmacht and it became an important element of the German armored forces until the middle of World War II.
Advantages of the Panzer 38(t) brick set:
Limited edition - this package is only available in a limited number of copies. The Panzer 38(t) vehicle and these three figures will never appear together in one set again, a real treat for collectors!
1:28 scale model - Reproduced in this scale, the German tank provides exceptional detail and realism. The model looks incredibly impressive, reflecting the authentic proportions and characteristic details of the vehicle used by the Wehrmacht during World War II.

Three figures - The set includes three figures of German soldiers in historically reproduced uniforms, which add an authentic context to the model:
• German General - in a reproduced coat with insignia, a general's cap and a monocle in his eye.
• Armored Grenadier – with numerous prints reproducing the camouflage pattern also used at the beginning of the war. The figure complements the collection of grenadiers featured in many of COBI’s limited editions.
• Gendarme - in a uniform coat with the characteristic gendarme gorget on his chest and... with writing on the sleeve. In addition, the figure wears motorcycle goggles under the helmet, and has a replica of a lollipop-shaped stop sign for stopping vehicles on the road tucked into his belt.

Additionally, the figures are armed with an M-24 grenade, a Mauser 98K rifle, and an MP 38 (strikingly similar to the slightly later MP-40) submachine gun, which further enhances the set and makes it perfect for both play and collector's dioramas.
Collector's plaque – The set includes a black brick plaque with laser engraving, featuring the set name, scale, and individual limited-edition number.
Certificate of authenticity - The set includes a certificate with an individual copy number and the handwritten signature of the COBI CEO. The black collector's plaque features a laser-engraved individual limited-edition number, as well as the name and scale of the vehicle.

738 elements – The set contains precisely made bricks, allowing you to create a realistic model in a recreated historical camouflage. The model stands out for its fidelity to the original and attention to detail.
Realistic tracks and wheels - Rotating wheels and tracks ensure smooth movement of the model. The running gear replicates the original, so the model can serve as both an exhibit and a toy for younger builders.
Tank interior – under the removable service hatch there is a brick-built engine! Under the turret you will find places for the crew with recreated equipment elements.
High quality workmanship - Durable bricks, aesthetic finish and reliable construction ensure satisfaction from building and many years of durability of the model. Elements such as the characteristic turret armed with a cannon and interior details that can be admired have been preserved.
All of this means that the model not only looks great on the shelf, but can also serve as an excellent base for historical dioramas.

Simple and intuitive instructions - Thanks to clear instructions, building the model is easy, enjoyable and suitable for both experienced modelers and beginner builders.
Durable prints - All markings are printed directly on the bricks, ensuring durability and resistance to abrasion. The high quality of the print is visible even on the back of the vehicle.
Age: 11+ - The set is ideal for experienced modelers and older children who want to build a unique model for their collection.
Extensive collection - Check out other vehicles from the HISTORICAL COLLECTION WWII series from COBI and create your own collection of machines that participated in the most important battles of World War II.
