The Allies' Path Through Berlin
The Battle of Berlin raged from April to May 1945 and was one of the most arduous and brutal episodes of the final phase of World War II in Europe. Utilizing the urban landscape, barricades and fortifications, German forces desperately defended the capital of the Third Reich in an attempt to halt the Red Army's advance.
The fighting took place under extremely harsh conditions—amidst ruined streets, burnt-out buildings and under constant artillery fire. Every section of the city became a battlefield and engagements frequently took the form of close-quarters combat. Soviet forces played a pivotal role in the capture of Berlin; their numerical and material superiority ultimately led to the breaching of the German defenses.
The capture of the Reichstag became the enduring symbol of the end of the fighting for the city, signifying the fall of Germany and the end of the war in Europe.
What will you find in the "Battle of Berlin" set?
Prepare to fight amidst bombed-out streets and stone ruins. This set features 6 highly detailed figures, allowing you to recreate the most dramatic moments of the battle for the city—events that heralded the imminent end of World War II.

Two members of the Volkssturm - the first wears a hat and civilian clothing, along with spectacles. He is armed with a Panzerfaust and uses an ordinary bicycle to navigate the battlefield. The second is an older man clad in a military greatcoat and a classic grey Stahlhelm (steel helmet).
He bears visible, bleeding head wounds wrapped in a bandage. He is armed with a Mauser 98K carbine. These figures allow for a realistic recreation of scenes depicting positional warfare within a besieged city.
A German soldier - dressed in a green uniform jacket paired with mismatched camouflage trousers and wearing a Feldmütze (field cap). He is armed with an StG 44 assault rifle, which he uses to defend a barricade or a position amidst the rubble.
A soldier of the Polish People's Army - wearing a uniform typical of the Polish forces fighting alongside the Soviets, topped with a traditional Polish rogatywka cap. He is armed with a PPS-41 submachine gun.
A Soviet tank crewman - wearing the classic black uniform of the armored corps and a tanker's helmet. In his hands, he holds a TT pistol and a fuel canister; perhaps, amidst the chaos of battle, he has rushed out of a disabled tank in search of fuel.
Soviet Soldier - clad in a green Soviet uniform, a Model 40 helmet and a greatcoat slung over his back, he stands ready to push through shell-swept rubble. He is armed with a PPS-41 submachine gun.
Tellermine 42 Anti-Tank Mine - the set is complemented by a brick-built German anti-tank mine from World War II, the successor to the Tellermine 35. Its pressure fuse was triggered by a force of approximately 340 kg.
