Ready for the biggest challenge in COBI's history?!?!
The King Tiger is coming!!!
If you think you've seen and built everything, get ready for something truly spectacular! A set that will go down in the history of block modeling is about to hit the market, the Pz.Kpfw. Tiger II Ausf. B "Königstiger", commonly known as the King Tiger, in the impressive 1:12 scale!
This model is an absolute giant! With 11,000 elements to assemble it will become the biggest challenge that COBI has ever thrown at block fans around the world! Dimensions? 86 cm long and weighing 11.5 kg - a real colossus that will provide you with many days of exciting construction!
But it's not just the size that makes an impression, the details are key here! Opening hatches, realistic single-link tracks, metal springs and a fully reproduced tank interior will literally take you back to World War II.
Look inside and see the Maybach HL230 engine (which, with its dimensions, could easily be a separate set) and all the other features that make this model a real treasure for every enthusiast of modeling blocks.
And what makes this model truly unique? That it was modeled after the original tank located at The Tank Museum in Bovington! The model was created in cooperation with this renowned museum, and every detail was developed based on documentation from the legendary museum. Thanks to this, you can be sure that the reproduction of Königstiger is as faithful to reality as possible, from the markings to the interior itself.
An additional fun fact is that a pre-production model of the tank in the 1:12 scale from COBI stands in the museum next to its historical original. When visiting The Tank Museum you have the opportunity to compare both exhibits and appreciate the enormous amount of work that went into designing this extraordinary model!
If you're looking for a real challenge, incredible detail and complex construction, the 1:12 King Tiger model will keep you satisfied for days!
The Pz.Kpfw. Tiger II Ausf. B "Königstiger" set will hit the market in September 2025. It's time to start preparing for the block madness!
