The model looks great. Like some other COBI fans I prefer printed on bricks rather than stickers. Prints give so much higher qualtiy. Maybe one day we will be able to order single bricks with the imprint we prefer...
I have by now built 18 Cobi Small Army models but this is my first real disappointment.
The quality of blocks and everything is typically COBI. No complaints here. The model is also very sturdy but some things about this particular model are really annoying and wrong:
I don’t know why Cobi chose to produce this model in historically inaccurate grey instead of NATO green.
I am also not a fan of the decal stickers that come with the World of Tanks series and would prefer printed blocks and historically accurate markings like in the WWII series.
The turret shape is also not good. I appreciate the difficulty in producing a rounded shape form blocks but then why did Cobi not choose the later A3 or A4 models with an angular turret?
Of course you can see all of that before you buy the model and I still chose to buy it.
But the most important fault is, that there is a huge gap between the hull and the turret. This disturbs me every time I look at it and should have been easy to avoid.
As I have seen Cobi improve on many models in a second version I am really hoping to one day see a Leopard 1A4 in accurate colours and markings (printed on blocks) with a properly designed turret and without the huge gap.

Have you thought about creating a Canadian Leopard C2 Mexas, It would make a great kit.

Hi,
It is possible that in the future we will. The queue of models is very long.
